Apples’n'Oranges – a clothing store for kids – just opened at Place d’Orleans in the old Dans un Jardin location.

I had a very bad experience with MODERN NAILS, Place d’Orleans, I had porcelain false nails put on December 20th. the person who did my nails was careless (she kept hurting me) and never answered my questions regarding the nails. Plus, it took my threatening to never come back to that store for her to put the second coat of nail polish on my nails. Because I was not satisfied, I did not leave a tip. Once home, I tried to find the owner of the store. That person cannot be found. I wrote to Modern Nails on the internet and they answered back that the store at place d’Orleans was not theirs. I then phoned Place d’orleans and they said they could not give me the name or phone number of the owner. So I called Modern Nails Place d’orleans again, trying to get the number of the owner.
they asked me to come and they would see the nails. I did so, the girl there was kind and comprehensive, she started to file my nails and said that they would fill them up and repair the nail that was coming unglued. then, a man arrived, she gave him her place and he changed the whole thing. If I wanted the filling and the defective nail repaired, I would have to pay 25.00 plus tax. Then, when I said no, he brought the price to 20.00 when I said no, he just put a coat of clear nail polish on the nails and left everything as is. the default nail was their fault and the work was very badly done and that too was their fault.
I ADVISE EVERYONE TO BE AWARE OF THIS PROBLEM WHEN GOING TO THAT STORE. THEIR PEOPLE SKILLS LEAVE TO BE DESIRE AND THEY ARE OF THE OPINION THAT THEY NEVER MAKE MISTAKES.

Has anyone had problems with Maison D’or. I bought an expensive engagement ring and the diamond broke within one month. I am being made to feel like I am the culprit and he owner Mr. Harden is the nice guy. He says it will take up to 2 months to get it back . What a joke. I won’t buy from him ever again.

This mall is useless… Unless you are a 15 year old girl. There are no stores for professional women to shop.

The mall’s not useless. I’m 19 and I go there foten, as does my sister. You just have to know where to look.

Dont go to Modern Nails! Ive had gel nails for 15 years and this was the worst experience ever! There were just so many things wrong. First of all I asked for gel nails, but my refill was made with powder. Manicure shouldnt be painful, but the ladies wanted to be very fast (to get more customers and more money) so they constantly hurt me and after a while I had blood under my nails and some smaller cuts. But they didnt mind, told me to relax and kept on going. There were 2 ladies working. One of them younger and one older. Last one was very unfriendly and demanding and and lacked people skills. I felt like a slave and not a client. My wishes how I want my nails to look were not respected. So now I have new york manicure instead of french and my hands still hurt, they are covered with nail polish and I have blood under my nails.
I would never ever go back to this salon as it is unfriendly, work is poor and price policy is unclear. Needless to say I didnt leave a tip. They were lucky I didnt ask for the manager.

One time, I was there, ordering a hot dog combo. While the cashier was taking my order, I noticed the “cook” in the back, giving me a very mocking, arrogant smirk.
He was a middle eastern type guy. I am east indian btw.
When I got my so-called food, the hot dog was RAW and COLD!
That jackass didn’t even bother to heat it up, but put it in a bun RAW.
I guess he was still carrying his old attitude with him when he immigrated to Canada, thinking that anyone of a darker color than him must be inferior. I am NOT religious btw, so therefore not muslim or any other religion.
Do not go to modern nails place d’orleans , first they told me it would only take 30 minutes to fill my manicure which actually took 2 hours. They were very rough with my nails and therefore I was left with blood under my nails and bleeding from the sides. Also they said it would be 25$ but they charged me 38.50$ they claim that was the taxes…I really should have complained but I really just wanted to get out of there I will never return!
yes franx supreme is the biggest rippoff that ive ever had in my life. all i wanted was a large poutine, but i stood there for almost ten minutes before the chick even addressed me as i stood before her. turns out the 9$ large poutine only consists of about 20 fries on a plate, and their bbq sauce is just normal gravy topped off with bbq in a bottle. pathetic. i was so dissatisfied and disgusted with this service that i was going to refuse the food but i had already paid vis their shifty taped debit machine, so i just assumed that a refund would be impossible for this make-shift eatery. despite the fact that i had wasted my money i refused to eat it and went to new york fries instead. I was served right away and the girl even gave me a sample of the butter chicken poutine that i was asking her about (she was a vegetarian so she couldnt really tell me). I got a regular poutine there, which despite being in a cup, was larger than the “large” at the other scamming place. The girl even went as far as neatly packing the fries into the cup so that i could get as much as possible, so I tipped her with my 4$ change. I dont even know how such scammers even made it into this mall, they should be replaced with something worth peoples time and money.
